Safety Class | Includes | Recommended For |
---|---|---|
S1P | Toe cap + puncture resistance + antistatic | Indoor work, warehouse |
S3 | S1P + waterproof upper | Construction, groundworks |
CI/S3 WR | S3 + winter lining + waterproof membrane | Outdoor winter work down to –20 °C |
Steel toe caps are durable and thinner but heavier. Composite toe caps are lighter, non-metallic, and do not trigger metal detectors.
Typically every 12–18 months of daily use, or sooner if the sole tread is worn, the upper is cracked, or the puncture protection is damaged.
CI-rated boots with 400g Thinsulate™ or wool lining can keep you warm down to around −30 °C during normal activity.
Brush off dirt, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Condition leather with wax and use waterproofing spray on textiles.
SRC-rated soles offer good traction, but for smooth ice surfaces, detachable ice grips or studded winter boots are recommended.
Filter by safety class, insulation, and toe cap type on our safety boots page and have your safety boots delivered within 1–3 business days.
Wipe boots daily, air out insoles, and store in a dry place. Regular care extends lifespan and maintains safety performance.
